Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is this project for?

This fundraiser will support scholarships for Trout Lake School students pursuing college or trade school following graduation.  Additionally, we are hoping to raise awareness of our donors and their businesses. We hope that our publicity effort, which includes local and social media, will encourage local residents to shop local during this extraordinary time.

2. How did this come about?

Trout Lake School seniors have a community service project requirement. Due to COVID, the requirement was suspended, yet we thought it would be worthwhile to do something anyway. Our class is one of the largest in TLS history and many of the traditional fundraisers were cancelled too. With your support, this fundraiser will make an important contribution to the scholarships of the Class of 2021.

3. How do I know this is legit?

We (Evan and Angela) are doing this fundraiser with the support of our parents and our Senior Project Mentor, Mr. Walters. While we are NOT affiliated with the Trout Lake Community Foundation, our intent is to donate 100% of the proceeds to them. We are doing this fundraiser largely on our own. If you are not comfortable with donating to us, please donate directly to the TLCF. Details can be found on their website. Thanks!

4. Who are the fundraiser organizers?

Read about us in the Columbia Gorge News
